Michael Sena has been motivating, educating and inspiring
individuals as a health and fitness expert for the past
25 years! He is a nationally recognized fitness expert and
maintains an academic certification as a Fitness Specialist.
Recently, Michael was voted one of America's top 100 personal
trainers by Men's Journal Magazine and is a Chicago television
fitness personality as well as the fitness contributor for
United Airlines worldwide. Michael's Award winning Traveling
Trainer® total body fitness system is now one of the
Marriott Hotels preferred in-room fitness products found
in Marriott's throughout North America. Additionally, Michael
has just written his first book, Lean Mom, Fit Family (Rodale
Press; August 2005) which deals with the problems of an
under fit and obese population here in the United States.

the world's largest airlines Michael provides United travelers
with HDTV video fitness segments which feature different
monthly tips on stretching, exercising, how to reduce stress,
eating on the road and much more. In the pages of United's
award winning in-flight magazine called Hemispheres, Michael's
"Travel Healthy" column appears monthly with cutting-edge
advice on how to stay healthy while on the road either for
business or leisure.

In 2001 Michael created "The Traveling Trainer®"
total body fitness system which won an award for product
integrity and marketing excellence by M.C.A.I.! "Michael
Sena's Traveling Trainer, Anywhere…Anytime®"
is a top selling fitness product in retail stores across
the country and is now featured as one of the preferred
in-room fitness products in Marriott and Renaissance hotels
all across North America. Michael and the Traveling Trainer
have appeared across the country in the media, on QVC and
at national fitness conventions as well. The Traveling Trainer
was created for hotel guests and travelers who live a healthy
lifestyle and who want the option to exercise and keep fit
while on the road. Michael is currently developing a new

After watching the downward trends of our nation's health
and fitness habits for the past ten years, Michael was determined
to do something about it in a big way! After collaborating
with several of his health professional board of advisors,
Michael set out to put his years of experience and education
together in a daily workbook that address the problems and
provides the solutions to our nation's current health status.
Knowing that the household and the family unit would be
the best place to start, Michael wrote Lean Mom, Fit Family
a 6 week step-by-step action plan. Together with Kirsten
Straughan, (RD) Dr. Tom Sattler, (Ed. D) and Dr. John Hefferon,
Orthopedic Specialist, Michael and company put together
a results oriented soft-cover book that first helps mom
become healthier and more fit and then shows her how to
do the same for her entire family!

Along with Michael's passion for health and fitness comes
his love for speaking and presenting to the masses. Michael
has been spreading the word about fitness in the form of
health and fitness lectures, workshops and seminars for
more than ten years collectively. As owner and developer
of "Studio One on One Personal Fitness" and "Energy
Training Center" which were both exclusive personal
training studios, Michael began holding workshops and seminars
for his clients to teach them how to live a healthy lifestyle.
Michael then began speaking to Chicago based corporations
to talk to workers on how they could get started on a healthier
track in life as well as help the company save money regarding
health care costs.
In 2000 Michael was named director of wellness for Sara
Lee Branded Foods bakery division. In 2002 Michael became
fitness consultant to United Airlines speaking at both company
conventions and media outlets. Michael also speaks and presents
